Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Construction Manager to lead project delivery from inception through handover on assigned sites in the UK. You will oversee site activities, manage delivery teams and supply chain, ensure CDM compliance, and drive safety and quality standards across programs.

You will chair progress meetings, monitor performance, and provide regular updates to the Senior Construction Manager. Security clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related discipline or equivalent.
• Membership of an appropriate professional institution.
• NEBOSH Construction/General Certificate.
• CSCS Black Managers Card.
• First Aid at Work qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery from inception to completion on assigned projects.
• Organise, supervise and coordinate all site construction activities.
• Lead site meetings, planning and performance reviews.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and supply chain.
• Provide weekly/monthly progress reports to Senior Construction Manager.
