Job summary

Amentum is recruiting a Construction Manager to lead project delivery from inception to completion on assigned projects. You will oversee site activities, coordinate delivery teams and ensure safety, quality and regulatory standards are met.

You will manage scope, budget and schedules, chair progress meetings and mentor teams while liaising with clients and external bodies. Security clearance in the UK is required or achievable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management or equivalent.
• Membership of an appropriate professional institution.
• NEBOSH Construction/General Certificate.
• CITB SMSTS or equivalent.
• CSCS Black Managers Card.
• Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor qualification.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Experience managing multi-discipline construction teams.
• Proven project delivery in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong CDM knowledge and health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery from inception to completion.
• Organise, supervise and coordinate site activities and delivery teams.
• Lead site safety, quality, environment and regulatory compliance.
• Chair site progress meetings and coordinate planning.
• Mentor construction teams and develop succession plans.
• Ensure documentation and reporting are maintained.
• Coordinate with clients and third parties to align plans.
