Job summary

Exyte in the United Kingdom seeks a Construction Manager to lead day-to-day on-site planning, coordination and delivery of construction activities for major infrastructure projects. You will act as the on-site link between the project team, subcontractors, supply chain and client representatives, safeguard safety, quality, programme and commercial expectations.

From mobilisation to installation, handover and close out, you will own the works, manage risks, ensure permits and RAMS are in place,

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience leading and managing construction activities on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
Accountability for programme, coordination, and delivery.
Experience managing interfaces between civils, M&E and other trades on site.
Manage permits to work, RAMS and health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day planning, coordination and delivery of construction activities on site.
Act as the on-site control point between project team, subcontractors, supply chain and client representatives.
Ensure works are planned, risks identified, and approvals and resources are in place.
Provide on-site leadership from mobilisation through to installation, handover and close out, with progress actively managed and issues escalated when required.
