Job summary

Red Bull Advanced Technologies in Milton Keynes seeks a Composite Manufacturing Team Leader to drive day-to-day operations, lead a team of technicians and ensure safe, high-quality delivery of composite components for innovative projects.

The role requires extensive experience in composite manufacturing, knowledge of prepreg carbon fibre processes, and proven leadership. You will collaborate across Engineering, Quality and Programme teams and support training and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in composite manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of prepreg carbon fibre manufacturing.
• Experience leading or supervising manufacturing teams.
• Familiar with laminating, vacuum bagging and autoclave curing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of composite manufacturing technicians and chargehands.
• Deliver production plans in line with quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Drive a strong safety-first and Right First Time culture.
• Monitor performance, resolve production issues and escalate as needed.
• Support training, performance management and team development activities.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Programme teams to ensure successful project delivery.
