Job summary

Red Bull Advanced Technologies (RBAT) is seeking a Composite Manufacturing Team Leader to oversee day-to-day production of high‑performance components, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time delivery across innovative projects.

You will lead a team of composite technicians and chargehands, coordinate with engineering, quality and programme teams, and drive continuous improvement in laminating, prepreg carbon fibre processes and related manufacturing activities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within composite manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience leading or supervising manufacturing teams.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within a fast-paced production environment.

Red Bull Advanced Technologies (RBAT) are looking for a Composite Manufacturing Team Leader to lead day-to-day composite production activities, ensuring the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of components for a variety of innovative engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of composite manufacturing technicians and chargehands.
• Deliver production plans in line with quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Drive a strong safety-first and Right First Time culture.
• Monitor performance, resolve production issues and escalation risks proactively.
• Support training, performance management and team development activities.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Programme teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Requirements

• Significant experience within composite manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of prepreg carbon fibre manufacturing processes.
• Previous experience leading or supervising manufacturing teams.
• Knowledge of laminating, vacuum bagging, autoclave curing, bonding, trimming and assembly processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within a fast-paced production environment.
