Job summary

Kent County Council is recruiting a Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist to join the Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells Community OT Team. The role includes leading a team of OTs and OT Assessment Officers to support daily practice and team performance, with liaison to partner teams to promote independence at home.

We offer an excellent induction and ongoing training, plus opportunities to develop leadership and move and handling skills.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Enhanced Disclosure check will be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Occupational Therapists and OT Assessment Officers.
• Support day-to-day clinical practice and team performance.
• Collaborate with Connect, KEaH and Community Social Work teams to enable independence at home.
