Job summary

Connected Health in Newtownabbey is seeking a Community Care Manager to lead the domiciliary care team and drive exceptional care in the community. You will support service users and the care teams, empowering staff to deliver life-changing support with compassion and proactive leadership.

As a key leader, you will manage rosters, coordinate on-call coverage, and ensure quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the area. A UK driving licence and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in domiciliary care.
• Full, valid UK driving licence and appropriate insurance for your vehicle.
• Experience leading a team and creating rosters.
• Ability to plan and organise workload and priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with the coordinator to drive development and growth in the assigned area.
• Lead the care team, manage weekly workload, annual leave, sickness, supervisions and spot checks.
• Oversee onboarding and inductions for new starters within the designated area.
• Attend client reviews and liaise with Care Managers and Health Trusts as required.
• Ensure quality of service, complete monthly care folder updates, and report safeguarding issues.
