Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in domiciliary care.
• Full, valid UK driving licence and appropriate vehicle insurance.
• Experience leading a team.
• Experience creating rotas.
• Using initiative to improve service users' lives.
• Creative problem solving and adaptability.
• Ability to work in the community to cover sickness.
• Positive & engaging with strong relationships.
• Punctual and reliable; committed to health and social care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a solid relationship with the coordinator to drive development and growth in the assigned area.
• Work toward business growth targets and KPIs.
• Be accountable for on-call telephone services in your area (Mon–Sun).
• Direct line management of the area Care Team (workload, leave, sickness, supervisions, appraisals).
• Liaise with Finance and HR; follow internal processes.
• Ensure regular team and individual communications.
• Manage 12-week induction for new starters and conduct supervision and appraisals.
• Attend client reviews and interface with Care Managers and Health Trusts as required.
• Oversee onboarding of new clients and provide emergency cover as needed.
• Report safeguarding/client issues to Line Manager; coordinate with Quality and Compliance.
