Job summary

O''Neill and Brennan is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major international data center project. You will act as the lead commercial contact, owning procurement, pre-contract through to final account, and will collaborate with the Project Director and team to drive successful commercial delivery.

The role targets senior professionals from Tier 1/2 main contractors, with sponsorship possible for the right candidate; remuneration up to £125,000 plus a company car, accommodation, and

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor in main contracting.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead commercial contact from procurement to final account.
• Manage commercial delivery within budgets, programmes and contracts.
• Procure and manage subcontract packages from tender to final account.
• Prepare tender analyses, negotiations and awards.
• Manage subcontractor payments, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Produce cost reports, forecasts and cash-flow projections.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Ensure contractual obligations are understood by the project team.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Construction Manager and design team.
• Develop relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and supply chain.
• Provide clear commercial reporting to senior management.
• Support resolution of commercial/contractual issues and drive cost control.
