Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a Lead Server and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the Server and Cloud Infrastructure Team in North Wales. You will develop, manage and support critical infrastructure services, covering server, storage, virtualization, backup and data centre technologies to ensure availability, performance and security of essential clinical and corporate systems.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline is essential.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects and migrations; managing major incidents.
• Excellent communication skills across clinical, technical and corporate stakeholders.
• Knowledge of NHS ICT standards, security policies and risk frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers providing server, storage, virtualization, backup and data centre services.
• Develop, manage and support critical infrastructure ensuring availability, performance and security.
• Lead infrastructure changes, support service transitions and major incident escalation.
• Promote best practice in incident, problem, change and capacity management.
