Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is recruiting a Lead Server and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join the Server and Cloud Infrastructure Team, reporting to the Server and Cloud Infrastructure Architect.

You will lead a team of engineers, develop, manage and support critical infrastructure services, ensuring availability, performance, security and resilience of systems supporting clinical and corporate services.

Qualifications

• We are seeking an experienced infrastructure professional with enterprise ICT expertise in server, virtualization, storage, monitoring and backup/recovery.
• A degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline is essential.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects, migrations and major incidents with strong stakeholder skills.
• Knowledge of NHS ICT standards, security policies and risk frameworks is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers across server, storage and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop, manage and support critical infrastructure services.
• Ensure availability, performance, security and resilience of systems for clinical and corporate services.
• Lead infrastructure changes and major incidents with governance and documentation.
