Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, resilient technology across platforms, applications and cloud services. This hands-on leadership role will work with Agile engineering and delivery teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle—from architecture and design through to implementation and ongoing operation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering secure cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture and risk mitigation.
• Experience across AI/ML, Cloud, Security Architecture, M365 or Data.
• Knowledge of NCSC, NIST, ISO, PCI DSS and GDPR.
• Hands-on security testing and vulnerability assessment.
• DevSecOps, CI/CD and Continuous Security experience.
• Excellent communication skills to translate security concepts.
• IAM, authentication and authorization knowledge.
• GRC and supply chain security understanding.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture and secure design of cloud services.
• Identify vulnerabilities and risk mitigations.
• Embed DevSecOps and CI/CD across delivery teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams and stakeholders.
• Apply security frameworks: NCSC, NIST, ISO27001, PCI DSS, GDPR.
• Assess architectures for weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
• Perform security testing across software, infrastructure and cloud.
• Mentor security engineers and junior staff.
