Job summary

OFG Education’s Brick Lane School in London is seeking a Lead Clinician to manage the in-house Clinical Team and deliver bespoke assessments and interventions for students with autism and SEMH needs.

The postholder will split time between clinical leadership and maintaining a therapy caseload, collaborating with SLT and Regional Clinical Lead to develop the school-based clinical service. 37.5 hours weekly, permanent role.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy.
• Registered Practitioner with the HCPC and RCSLT.
• Regular and up-to-date professional registration with a relevant body e.g. BPS.
• Experience with autistic individuals and/or complex needs.
• Clear and concise report writing for clinical and research activities.
• Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work dynamically within a growing clinical service.
• Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty.

Responsibilities

• Lead the in-house Clinical Team at Brick Lane School.
• Split role between clinical leadership and maintaining a therapy caseload.
• Deliver bespoke assessments and intervention plans for students with complex needs.
• Coordinate line management of onsite clinical staff and drive service development.
