Bedfordshire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Principal Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to lead psychological input in the diabetes pathway, joining a large, supportive clinical health psychology team. You will deliver specialist assessments and interventions, contribute to service development, and supervise junior psychologists as part of a multidisciplinary diabetes team.

You will train teams, provide clinical supervision, and help shape pathways with Eating Disorder and Mental Health

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent requires high-level clinical expertise.
• HCPC registration as Practitioner Psychologist is mandatory.
• Training in clinical supervision for doctoral trainees is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead training and support in psychological skills for diabetes MDTs.
• Provide specialist individual and group psychological interventions.
• Be accountable for professional practice within a highly specialist service.
• Provide training, coaching, supervision, and mentorship on psychological care.
