Job summary

Harrods in Knightsbridge is seeking an experienced Cleaning Team Leader to support daily operations and maintain the premier store environment. You will lead your team, run daily briefings, and ensure cleaning standards align with customer experience goals.

The role requires a safety-first mindset, a strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, and the ability to coach staff. Shift hours are 1 pm to 9:30 pm, five days a week over seven, including one weekend every two weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience as cleaning supervisor or team leader.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
• Understanding health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Run daily team briefings to assign daily cleaning duties and monitor completion.
• Conduct regular store inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Train and support new and existing team members on cleaning protocols, health & safety, and store-specific requirements.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to colleagues to ensure standards are maintained on a continued basis.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Handle stock control of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
