Job summary

Lanes Group Ltd is seeking a Civils Supervisor to lead operational teams within a designated area, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will oversee day‑to‑day activities, coordinate resources, support your teams, and ensure an excellent service is provided to customers and clients.

You will review drawings and engineering documentation, manage performance, and promote a strong health, safety, environmental, and quality culture across all sites.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience within utilities, wastewater, drainage, civil engineering, or a related industry.
• Holds a full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Delivers a high standard of customer service and builds positive working relationships.
• Can work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support operational teams, ensuring work is completed safely and in line with requirements.
• Coordinate daily activities, resources, and workforce planning with scheduling teams.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, authorities, customers, and stakeholders.
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and quality checks for safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Manage team performance, attendance, development, and training needs.
• Ensure crews have tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete works.
