Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in utilities, wastewater, drainage, civil engineering or related industry.
• Holds a full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Delivers high standard of customer service and builds relationships.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Experience interpreting drawings, specifications, and operational documents.
• Understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements in operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support operational teams to deliver work safely and to required standards.
• Coordinate daily activities, resources, and workforce planning with scheduling teams.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, authorities, customers and stakeholders.
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and quality checks for compliance with HSE standards.
• Manage team performance, attendance, development and training needs.
• Ensure crews have tools, materials, plant and equipment required.
• Oversee fleet, plant and material requirements to support delivery.
• Monitor progress and keep records and client systems up to date.
