Job summary

Lanes Group in Glasgow is seeking a Civils Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate civil engineering and drainage construction activities on site. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards, liaising with clients, subcontractors and management.

Role involves day-to-day supervision of depot and on-site teams, planning work, assisting with method statements, risk assessments and the job management system, with a company vehicle provided for

Qualifications

Knowledge of civils works from initial excavation to backfill and reinstatement.
Confident speaking to clients.
Able to complete scoping/pricing works.
NRSWA Supervisor ticket desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist Contracts manager with onsite planning and inventory.
Liaise with clients and ADMs.
Assist with method statements and risk assessments.
Assist the Contracts manager with planning and programming of the job management system (Teamleaf).
Scope future work sites to allow preparation before on-site start dates.
Motivate, supervise and develop on-site staff.
Evaluate performance and provide feedback to improve site delivery.
Ensure on-site compliance procedures through auditing.
