Job summary

Lanes Group Ltd, a leading utility services provider, seeks a Civils Supervisor to lead operational teams on designated sites, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery of works within our wastewater and drainage programmes.

You will coordinate resources, monitor progress, review drawings, and maintain strong client and local authority relationships while supporting continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising utilities, wastewater, or civil engineering teams.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience interpreting drawings and engineering documentation.
• Understanding of health, safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support operational teams, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate daily activities, resources and workforce planning.
• Maintain relationships with clients, local authorities, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and quality checks for compliance.
• Manage team performance, attendance, development and training needs.
• Ensure crews have tools, materials, plant and equipment required to complete works.
• Oversee fleet, plant and material requirements to support delivery.
• Monitor progress and update records, reports and client systems.
