Job summary

Millbank Holdings is seeking a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to lead the design and delivery of refurbishment projects for subway systems in a critical infrastructure setting.

You will assess existing structures, develop remediation strategies, manage design teams, and ensure compliance with safety standards while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external design houses to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• A proven degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with Chartered status or extensive relevant experience.
• Expert knowledge of civil and structural design in regulated environments, preferably in Nuclear or Defence sectors.
• Strong familiarity with safety standards, legislation, and regulatory compliance including CDM regulations.
• Extensive experience in managing complex design projects through their lifecycle, with capability to provide technical guidance and oversight.
• Demonstrable experience working within BIM environments and digital design tools.
• Familiarity with project planning, management, budgeting, and governance procedures.
