Job summary

Millbank Holdings is seeking a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to lead the design and delivery of refurbishment projects for subway systems within critical infrastructure. You will assess existing structures, develop remediation strategies, lead design teams, and ensure compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Chartered status or extensive relevant experience.
• Expert knowledge of civil and structural design in regulated environments, preferably Nuclear/Defence.
• Strong familiarity with safety standards, legislation and CDM regulations.
• Experience managing complex design projects through their lifecycle with technical oversight.
• Experience working in BIM environments and with digital design tools.
• Familiarity with project planning, budgeting and governance procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• A proven degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with Chartered status or extensive relevant experience.
• Expert knowledge of civil and structural design in regulated environments, preferably in Nuclear or Defence sectors.
• Strong familiarity with safety standards, legislation, and regulatory compliance including CDM regulations.
• Extensive experience in managing complex design projects through their lifecycle, with capability to provide technical guidance and oversight.
• Demonstrable experience working within BIM environments and digital design tools.
• Familiarity with project planning, management, budgeting, and governance procedures.
