Job summary

300 North Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager for civil engineering and remediation projects across Yorkshire and the Midlands. You will oversee site operations, manage labour, subcontractors, programmes, health and safety, and client communication.

The role requires 3–4 years of site management experience, SMSTS and CSCS, and a full UK driving licence. Travel between projects is expected; a company van and fuel card are provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of site management experience in civil engineering, remediation, earthworks or related fields.
• Experience overseeing labour, subcontractors and programmes, with health and safety focus.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications and programmes; coordinate resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage safe and efficient delivery of site activities.
• Coordinate direct labour, subcontractors, plant, materials, and suppliers.
• Work with Project Manager and technical team to meet programme requirements.
• Produce and review RAMS, permits, briefings and construction documentation.
• Lead site inductions, toolbox talks and daily activity briefings.
• Monitor progress, productivity, quality and completed works.
• Ensure work aligns with drawings and project requirements.
• Maintain site diaries, records and progress reports.
• Identify risks and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Manage temporary works and follow correct procedures.
• Support planning, look-ahead programmes and resource needs.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and legislation.
• Oversee project completion, snagging and handover.
