Job summary

RTL Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager in Luton to oversee remediation, piling and groundworks on a major civil engineering project. You will lead site teams, subcontractors and plant operations, coordinating labour, materials and equipment to deliver safely and to programme.

The ideal candidate will have previous Site Manager experience in civil engineering, hold a Gold CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid certification, and demonstrate a strong understanding of health and safety

• SMSTS certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee piling, remediation and groundworks activities on site.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and plant operations.
• Coordinate labour, materials and plant for efficient delivery.
• Ensure works are safe, on programme and to specification.
• Monitor subcontractors and assess progress, quality and performance.
• Liaise with Project Managers and Site Engineers.
• Maintain RAMS and health and safety compliance.
• Track site progress and address delays promptly.
• Keep accurate site records and ensure standards are met.

• Lead site teams, subcontractors and plant operations.
• Coordinate labour, materials and plant to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
• Manage subcontractors and monitor progress, quality and performance.
• Liaise closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with RAMS, health and safety procedures and project requirements.
• Monitor site progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
• Maintain accurate site records and ensure works are completed to the required standards.
• Previous Site Manager experience within civil engineering.
• Strong experience in piling, remediation and/or groundworks.
• Gold CSCS Card.
• SMSTS.
• First Aid.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
