Job summary

Balfour Beatty’s Regional Civils North West team is growing and we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager who is looking to take ownership of complex projects, lead high-performing teams and work with a business at the forefront of UK infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

• BSc/HND in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Experience collaborating with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify and manage project risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, resources, quality and performance.
• Provide strong leadership to project and site teams.
• Build effective relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with standards.
• Manage commercial performance and identify opportunities and risks.
• Drive collaboration across design, commercial, engineering and construction teams.
• Support development of people and create a positive project culture.
