Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to lead water sector projects and collaborate with top clients to design and deliver efficient water infrastructure across the UK. You will drive solutions from initial need to detailed design, coordinating a project team and delivering high-quality reports.

The role offers flexible working with UK-wide opportunities, mentorship, and ongoing training; Chartered status is preferred and MEICA/environmental considerations are part of the remit.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
• Ideally Chartered and member of a relevant engineering institution.
• Experience in water industry and MEICA disciplines.
• Understanding of environmental issues including net carbon.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions from need to detailed design within required timescales and budgets.
• Support and manage project team members and mentor engineers.
• Produce and check technical reports on water infrastructure projects.
