Job summary

United Infrastructure Ltd in Warrington is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to support the delivery of major civil and energy infrastructure projects. You will lead technical delivery, oversee reinforced concrete structures, foundations, earthworks, and coordinate with design teams and contractors to meet programme and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering major civil engineering, utilities, energy, pipeline, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status or working towards accreditation.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee civil and structural construction activities, including reinforced concrete, foundations, drainage, and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, subcontractors, and site management.
• Review engineering designs, specifications, and construction methodologies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Liaise with design teams, project stakeholders, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries and interface issues.
• Monitor compliance with engineering standards, project requirements, CDM Regulations, and company HSE procedures.
• Support planning, sequencing, and coordination of construction activities.
• Identify and mitigate engineering risks and construction constraints.
• Mentor and develop Site Engineers, Graduate Engineers, and other junior team members.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practice across the project.
