Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to support delivery of the Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture Scheme, working with project teams and stakeholders on a landmark energy transition programme in the North West.

You will lead civil and structural construction activities, review designs, manage interfaces, mentor junior staff, and help ensure safety, quality and programme delivery across AGIs, foundations, earthworks and pipelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering major civil/infra projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of reinforced concrete, foundations, earthworks.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee civil and structural construction activities.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to required quality.
• Review engineering designs, specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Liaise with design teams, project stakeholders and subcontractors to resolve queries.
• Mentor Site Engineers and junior staff.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practice.
