Job summary

DO & CO Group is seeking a Chinese Chef to oversee production of Chinese cuisine in our luxury catering unit. You will lead a kitchen team, ensure DO & CO standards, and work with the Executive Chef team to develop new menu designs in response to customer needs.

You will train and coach staff, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• Passion for cooking authentic Chinese cuisine.
• Previous Specialist Chinese Chef experience.
• Excellent leadership with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Clear communicator who can motivate a team.
• Able to work with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production of Chinese cuisine ensuring DO & CO standards.
• Lead and train the kitchen team, supervise daily operations.
• Plan production to match daily schedule and budget.
• Maintain food safety and quality controls across processes.
• Collaborate with Exec Chef on menu design and cost control.
• Foster teamwork and adapt to high-pressure situations.
