Job summary

Service Care is seeking an experienced Childrens Home Registered Manager to oversee a high-quality residential service in the Castleford/Wakefield area. You will lead a motivated team, ensure safeguarding and regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvement in care delivery.

The role focuses on maintaining excellent outcomes for children and young people while working with social workers and partner agencies to support needs within a compliant framework.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior/Registered Manager in a children's residential setting.
• Ability to lead and develop a domestic care team to deliver high standards.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of the children's home and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, mentor and develop the residential team to deliver outstanding care.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
• Maintain care plans, records and outcomes to ensure quality delivery.
• Collaborate with social workers and partner agencies to support needs.
• Manage staff performance, recruitment and professional development.
• Promote a positive, nurturing home environment for children's wellbeing.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
• Continuously review and improve the quality of care.
