Job summary

The Esland Group Ltd seeks an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a three-bed EBD home in Sandy, Bedfordshire, caring for 6–18-year-olds. You will oversee operations, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance while driving excellent care standards and continuous development.

Key requirements include Level 3 and Level 5 Diplomas in Residential Childcare leadership, plus a minimum of 2 years in residential care and over 12 months in a managerial role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a role relevant to residential care of children
• At least 12 months in a managerial/senior/team leader/supervisory role within care
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory expectations (Ofsted)

Responsibilities

• Lead one of Esland’s high-quality EBD homes with 6–18-year-olds
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, legislation and Regulation 28 requirements
• Promote equal opportunities and high standards of care for all young people
