Job summary

Kenton Black is recruiting an experienced Change Manager to work with an established specialist infrastructure contractor on a major programme of works in the Midlands. The role centres on NEC change and Compensation Events across multiple live workstreams, with hybrid working (3 days on site/in office).

You will own the contractual change process, coordinate with commercial, project management, planning and engineering teams, and ensure changes are identified, notified, assessed and progressed

Qualifications

• Extensive NEC3/NEC4 experience required.
• Proven track record in managing Compensation Events and contractual change.
• Senior commercial or QS background with hands-on change responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for management and control of change across multiple project workstreams.
• Identify potential changes and ensure contractual notices are issued on time.
• Manage Compensation Event process from ID to quotation, assessment and agreement.
• Prepare and manage change registers and assess commercial impact.
• Coordinate with planners and project teams to demonstrate programme impact.
• Ensure substantiation with records, cost information and contractual evidence.
• Review quotations for Compensation Events and drive resolution.
