Job summary

Radis Community Care is looking for a Full Time Team Leader to join our Extra Care Scheme in Diss. You will oversee care packages, mentor Radis Staff and ensure high-quality, person-centred care, while supporting people we serve and maintaining dignity and respect.

You will coordinate schedules, supervise staff, and participate in on-call cover as required. Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and be willing to work toward Level 3, with a DBS check and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is required or in progress.
• Willing to gain Level 3 qualification is expected.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for care packages, offering supervision, support, and guidance to Radis Staff through regular meetings and check-ins.
• Schedule and allocate care tasks, ensuring that care plans—including personal care and medication—are followed accurately in a manner specific to the people we support.
• Support people directly with personal care, medication, and community-based activities when needed.
• Take part in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover for care-related support as required.
