NHS Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join the Bury CAMHS service. You will provide assessments and develop treatment plans for children and young people with complex presentations, within a multidisciplinary team across community and school settings.

You will apply evidence-based therapies (CBT/DBT/EMDR) and contribute to audit, policy development, and research to improve services. Commitment to patient-centred care is essential.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology or equivalent and HCPC/UKCP registration.
• Further qualifications/training in therapy models (CBT/DBT/EMDR) are desirable.
• Experience delivering specialist psychological assessments and interventions in NHS settings.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist psychological assessments for children and young people up to 18 years using complex data and varied sources.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans across settings to improve outcomes for young people with mental health needs.
• Lead care coordination and chair reviews to keep the child at the centre of planning, with MDT involvement.
