Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Lead Divisional Buyer within the One LSC Procurement team to drive strategic procurement across multiple sites, engaging clinicians, nursing staff, estates, and IT to deliver value-for-money outcomes.

You will lead on clinical and non-clinical procurements, manage cost-reduction plans, and provide expert advice on procurement processes and NHS guidance, reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement projects with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
• Ability to plan, negotiate and deliver cost reduction work plans for materials/services.
• Provide professional advice on procurement processes and NHS/public procurement guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on self-identified and allocated procurement projects across One LSC sites.
• Plan, negotiate and deliver cost reduction work plans with clinical staff and external stakeholders.
• Assess financial implications of contract awards and ensure value for money.
