Job summary

WSP is seeking a Building Technology Systems engineer to design IT networks and ELV systems within buildings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on landmark projects. You will liaise with clients to interpret requirements, produce detailed BTS designs and schedules, and contribute to the feasibility and execution of projects while working under guidance from senior engineers.

Applicants should hold an accredited honours degree (CIBSE/IET/Engineering Council) and be eligible to work in

Qualifications

• CIBSE/IET/Engineering Council accredited honours degree or path to Chartership.
• RevitMEP training applied to BTS discipline.
• Any accredited network qualification.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK and capable of achieving SC-level UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design IT networks within buildings alongside multiple design disciplines.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand and interpret requirements.
• Implement leading-edge BTS network designs into real-world applications.
• Produce detailed BTS designs and equipment schedules.
• Work under direction of seniors or lead smaller projects independently.
