Job summary

WSP invites engineers to contribute to Building Technology Systems by designing IT networks within buildings and collaborating with multiple design disciplines. You will liaise with clients to understand requirements and implement cutting-edge BTS designs in real-world projects.

The role involves producing detailed designs, feasibility studies, and equipment schedules while working under seniors or taking a discipline lead on smaller projects. Growth opportunities exist across global projects.

Qualifications

• Honours degree accredited by CIBSE/IET/Engineering Council or equivalent.
• RevitMEP training applied to the discipline.
• Accredited network qualification beneficial.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK and to obtain UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design IT networks within buildings alongside other design disciplines.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand and interpret requirements.
• Implement leading edge BTS network designs into real-world applications.
• Create future-ready buildings with robust IT & communications systems.
• Produce detailed BTS designs and equipment schedules for review.
