Job summary

McLaren seeks a Senior Engineer for Body Systems in Woking to lead end-to-end feature delivery across vehicle programmes. You will define feature requirements, coordinate system interfaces, and drive MBSE practices using SysML to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with Systems Engineering, Validation, and Product teams, contributing to the lifecycle from concept to production, while maintaining traceability and meeting safety/regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering within automotive or similar complex environment.
• Familiar with MBSE practices and SysML.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead feature design and delivery for Body Systems in cross-functional teams.
• Own feature and system requirements with traceability across stakeholders.
• Coordinate system interfaces, integration, and verification across the lifecycle.
• Work with architecture, software, validation and attribute teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Support gateway delivery and readiness reviews through the V-cycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools and processes.
