Job summary

McLaren Automotive in the United Kingdom is seeking a Body Systems Engineer to contribute to the definition, coordination and integration of features across vehicle programmes. You will collaborate with Systems Engineering, Attribute, Commodity Engineering and Validation teams to drive end-to-end feature delivery, define traceable requirements and support integration through the V-cycle and gateways.

Qualifications

Practical experience in systems engineering within automotive or similarly complex engineering environments.
Exposure to feature delivery, structured requirements development and cross-functional engineering coordination.
Ability to work across stakeholders with structured problem solving and disciplined follow-through.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end delivery of Body Systems features and coordinate activities across gateways.
Define, author and maintain feature and system requirements with clear traceability.
Coordinate across system, software, hardware, validation and attribute teams for integration.
Contribute to engineering activities across the V-cycle and programme gateways.
Support verification planning, test definition and issue investigation to ensure meeting requirements.
