Carrington West is seeking an experienced Bid Manager in the Energy sector to take ownership of major infrastructure tenders and influence bid strategy. Based in Doncaster with a hybrid pattern (3 days in the office, 2 days at home), you will guide submissions from PQQ through ITT and coordinate multiple technical and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bid Manager within the Energy sector.
• Experience managing large, complex tenders and frameworks.
• End-to-end bid management including PQQs, ITTs and governance.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication and project management skills.
• Experience in power transmission, distribution, substations, overhead lines or underground cabling is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Take full ownership of the bid process, from initial PQQ and ITT stages through to final submission.
• Leading complex, high-value infrastructure bids and major framework opportunities, including schemes exceeding £100 million.
• Develop bid strategies, win themes and compelling technical and commercial submissions.
• Creating detailed storyboards and coordinating subject matter experts to produce high-quality responses.
• Managing bid programmes, deadlines and resources to ensure all tender requirements are delivered successfully.
• Ensuring compliance with internal governance procedures and client tender requirements.
• Working collaboratively with estimating, engineering, commercial and operational teams to develop competitive solutions.
• Identifying risks, opportunities and key differentiators to strengthen bid submissions.
• Contributing to continuous improvements in bid processes, quality and overall tender success.
