eTeach UK Limited is seeking a Farm and Estate Technician (Beef) to lead the beef enterprise of the College’s mixed farm and estate. You will manage the 180 head beef unit and the adjacent suckler herd, while supporting students through practical demonstrations and hands-on livestock management.

You will work close with the Head of Estate to shape the beef enterprise, ensure welfare standards, and use modern practices across a 162ha estate.

Formación

• Beef husbandry experience and health management including calving.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work across the estate and outdoors.
• High safety and presentation standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily beef enterprise operations and ensure smooth livestock management.
• Conduct daily checks, feeding, bedding, and manage breeding cycles and calving.
• Administer basic treatments or vaccinations and use cattle handling systems.
• Provide practical learning for students and demonstrate livestock skills to small groups.
• Operate tractors and telehandlers for feeding, bedding and field operations.
• Gather and record performance data and maintain electronic records for compliance.
• Collaborate with other estate technicians on estate tasks and demonstrations for students.
