Job summary

Gazelle Global Consulting Limited is seeking an Infrastructure Backup and Storage Analyst to join a business-critical infrastructure team in a hybrid role based in Wokingham/ Warwick, UK. The contract is initially 6 months with potential extension, and three days on-site per week.

You will manage enterprise backup, recovery and storage services, ensuring data protection, service availability and disaster recovery readiness across core infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise backup solutions.
• Knowledge of Veritas NetBackup and storage arrays.
• Experience with SAN/NAS administration.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning.
• Ability to provide L2/L3 technical support.
• Maintain build docs and asset inventories.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot enterprise backup solutions, including Veritas NetBackup.
• Configure and monitor backup and restore operations; investigate failures.
• Administer SAN/NAS environments and provisioning storage.
• Support Dell PowerMax and HP StoreOnce infrastructure.
• Monitor storage capacity, utilisation and performance.
• Maintain backup policies, schedules and retention.
• Support disaster recovery planning and RTO/RPO objectives.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support and root cause analysis.
• Maintain build documentation and asset inventories.
• Apply backup security and access controls.
