Job summary

Nub News in Warwick is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Backup and Storage Analyst to manage enterprise backup, recovery and storage infrastructure. You will work hands-on with Veritas NetBackup, SAN/NAS storage, and disaster recovery testing to ensure data availability and policy adherence.

The contract is 6 months, hybrid with three days on-site in Warwick, and inside IR35. You will work with Dell PowerMax and HPE StoreOnce in a data centre environment, maintaining security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Veritas NetBackup administration.
• Storage experience with SAN and NAS.
• Experience with Dell PowerMax storage arrays.
• Backup validation and disaster recovery experience.
• L2/L3 incident, problem and request handling.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise backup with Veritas NetBackup.
• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot backup and restore operations.
• Administer SAN and NAS storage provisioning, capacity monitoring, expansion and optimisation.
• Support disaster recovery planning and ensure RTO/RPO targets.
• Maintain documentation, asset inventory and reporting.
