Lead Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net Azure SaaS) Reigate / WFH to £100k

Are you a backend-focused C# technologist with in-depth knowledge of Azure and strong technical leadership skills?

Join a global InsurTech company as a senior, hands-on engineer, building a complex SaaS platform for insurance brokers to manage reserves and compliance.

You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, cloud-based solutions.

Location / WFH:

Flexible hybrid model: in-office in Reigate twice a week, with three days working remotely.

About you:

• Expertise in C# .Net Core backend development on large, scalable systems
• Strong knowledge of Azure and SaaS platforms
• Experience in technical project leadership
• Advocate for clean, reusable, maintainable code and best practices
• Knowledge of security and IAM in Azure
• Understanding of CS fundamentals: OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Degree in a relevant STEM discipline
