Job summary

Octopus Money is seeking a Tech Lead with a backend focus (Go) to guide a full-stack team in delivering high-quality products. You will balance coding with leadership, mentoring engineers, and shaping technical strategy within a fast-paced fintech environment.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will drive architectural decisions, ensure best practices, and collaborate with Product and Design leads to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience focusing on backend (Go preferred).
• 1+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience in system architecture and designing scalable solutions.
• Experience integrating with external APIs and systems.
• Proven track record of technical leadership and project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
• Drive project execution from conception to delivery.
• Collaborate with Product and Design Leads on technical solutions.
• Oversee code quality, reviews, and best practices.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps and long-term strategies.
