Job summary

InvestCloud, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and build backend services for our new private markets platform. This role involves significant technical leadership, including mentoring engineers and making architectural decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Go, AWS, and Postgres, along with a track record of delivering high-quality software in production environments. We offer a hybrid working model with competitive benefits including a discretionary bonus and 28 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Lead Software Engineer, building and operating backend systems in production.
• Deep experience in at least one modern backend language, preferably Go.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, service design, and API design.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services for the platform, primarily in Go.
• Own features and services end-to-end from requirements to support.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor other engineers.
