Noble Panacea, a forward‑thinking skincare brand, is seeking a Principal Backend (or Full‑Stack) Engineer to spearhead backend/API platforms powering our ecommerce, loyalty, and clienteling experiences. You will design scalable services, ensure security and observability, and lead cross‑functional integrations with CRM and analytics systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, REST/GraphQL API development, and distributed patterns.
• Experience integrating ecommerce or digital experience platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own backend and API architecture for ecommerce, loyalty, and clienteling platforms.
• Design, build, and evolve backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
• Lead integrations for global commerce, including payment processors, cross-border capabilities, fulfillment networks, and logistics partners.
• Architect and maintain scalable APIs and middleware connecting CMS, DAM, analytics platforms, and other digital systems.
• Develop and own API governance, authentication, authorization, and rate-limiting strategies.
• Define observability standards across logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting with tools like New Relic, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and data teams to deliver secure, performant end-to-end experiences.
• Drive DevOps and platform automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environment consistency.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and long-term technical roadmap.
