Job summary

Encore in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced events professional to drive delivery and setup for venues and hotels, from small meetings to large productions. You will coordinate with clients, technicians, and hotel teams to ensure flawless on-site execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong AV / live events experience preferred.
• Experience in hospitality/service industry preferred.
• Experience with audio visual systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for clients daily to ensure requirements are met.
• With technicians, prepare, rig and de-rig equipment on-site for events.
• Proactively engage clients ahead of events to uncover needs and opportunities.
• Create and maintain a portfolio of standard set designs to visualise options.
• Maximise sales potential by upselling services for conferences and events.
• Contribute to capture rate discussions and identify opportunities.
• Monitor sales files and ensure adherence to processes.
• Foster strong relationships with the sales team and educate on services.
• Develop a client database and follow up post-event for future business.
• Ensure budgets are observed and negotiate preferred rates with in-house resources.
• Work with London office to develop event-specific sales and marketing literature.
• Attend weekly meetings to ensure communication across teams.
• Build strong relationships with hotel/venue staff across teams.
• Create development plans to improve service levels and address concerns.
• Coordinate with London team and other sites for backup support.
• Participate in regular meetings to ensure duties are executed on time.
• Create standard information systems for equipment movements and turnover reporting.
• Develop dry hire shows and large-scale events with involvement in tenders.
• Build long-term client loyalty and expand into established accounts.
