Job summary

ProTalent is assisting a local Sittingbourne/Kent practice recruiting an Audit Senior to lead audit engagements from planning through to completion. This hybrid role places you as day-to-day client contact, with mentoring responsibilities for junior staff and close collaboration with managers.

The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified with prior practice audit experience, a strong eye for detail, and a proactive approach to managing client files and deadlines.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified and audit experience in practice.
• Ability to mentor junior team members on site.
• Strong planning and organisational skills for audit engagements.
• Good client communication and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading audits from planning to completion.
• Making sure files are complete, well organised and ready for sign-off.
• Analysing client data and giving practical recommendations.
• Building relationships with new and existing clients.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members on site.
• Preparing and reviewing accounts, and some tax, VAT and PAYE work.
• Planning your own workload to hit deadlines.
