Job summary

Cotswold Archaeology is seeking a skilled geophysics professional to lead and supervise archaeological geophysical projects across the UK and Europe. You will work with the Geophysics Manager and technical specialists, coordinating fieldwork, data processing and reporting while mentoring junior staff.

Applicants should have a strong archaeological/technical background, a degree in geophysics or related Earth science, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree in geophysics, archaeology or related Earth science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with geophysical data interpretation and reporting.
• Full manual driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise archaeological geophysical projects to deliver high quality results on time and within budget.
• Assist with project management and logistics setup.
• Provide data processing, interpretation and QA for reports.
• Mentor staff and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare client reports and contribute to tendering activities.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed.
