The role involves acquiring and analyzing geophysical data, managing field crews, and writing technical reports. Qualifications

• A good earth science undergraduate degree, preferably in geophysics.
• Relevant industrial experience OR a postgraduate qualification in geophysics.
• A thorough understanding of environmental/engineering geophysics.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Existing right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the design of geophysical projects.
• Organisation and management of geophysical surveys.
• Acquisition and processing of geophysical data.
• Management and training of junior staff.
• Client liaison and technical report writing.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Knowledge of industry-standard software

Coding skills in either Python, MATLAB or R

Education

Earth science undergraduate degree, preferably in geophysics

Postgraduate qualification in geophysics
